Quick and Easy Kassler Steaks


4 Servings

  • 4 – 6 Kassler steaks (or Kassler chops)
  • 45 ml olive oil
  • 25 ml honey
  • 15 ml lemon juice

Pat the Kassler steaks or chops dry with kitchen paper. Heat the olive oil in a heavy based frying pan and fry the steaks or chops over moderate heat until just cooked. (Don’t cook them until they are dry.)

Add the honey and lemon juice to the pan, stir thoroughly until heated through and serve hot with your favourite vegetables.
